UPDATE, 1/28/2014: Jerwin Cabañero identified the song through extensive research as "Merci, Chérie" ("Thank You, Darling"), winning song in the Eurovision Song Contest 1966. See comments below for more details. ---- The mysterious music background for "Kini Ang Akong Suliran" drama intro aired over DYHP since the 1980s. Perhaps, only the series' original musical spinner knows its title. It sounds like an Ennio Morricone composition, the string section a bit similar in arrangement to the soundtrack pieces "Chi Mai" and "Le Vent Le Cri & Tulips". To overhear this music from a neighbor's radio brings back memories of childhood. Do you know its title? I would like very much to hear the whole version of this theme.
